IE6 message ''failed to get data for 'ac'

everytime i try viewing internet explorer i get a message
saying - "failed to get data for 'ac'"???
and it closes the IE window - any SOLUTIONS???
 
Sounds like you have virus.
Go to www.download.com and input virus in search text box. download which is
the most popular software, then install...
Try.
 
I am getting the same message. I run Norton AntiVirus
and Norton Internet Security. No viruses have been
detected.

I have also noticed the problem when I attempt to open
Windows Explorer as well, which allows me to search my
computer for files.

Looking for more ideas.
