ie6 & ie7 on same XP SP2 machine, poss?

I would like to keep both IE6 & IE7 on the same XP SP2 machine (to check
web page rendering), is this possible?

Not possible. Hasn't been since IE6......
You /could/ load a second copy of XP using virtual pc......

This doesn't strike me as being very friendly to web developers!

That is why so many developers are using virtualized operating systems now.
They can have 2-3 or more virtual systems on their computer and check what
they do on each system. I have every version of Windows from WFWG 3.11 up to
Vista. I also have 2-3 different flavors of Linux as well as OS/2. I can
start up any of them as I please from within Windows XP. Do I need them all?
Of course not, but I have them.

I've got plenty of disk space on an HP Pavilion laptop, do you have any
recommended reading about this?
