I've had a problem with IE6 for several months and have had
to revert to using Netscape. IE6 will launch but will not
go to any site. I've talked to some radio PC help talk
shows and they said to go to the download site and download
it and choose the "refresh" option. I never got that
option presented, and the install option tells me that I
have a newer version of IE6 installed already. I've tried
uninstalling and that doesn't seem to help to getting to
the "refresh" option. I ordered IE6 on CD and it also
tells me that I have a newer version installed, so that
leaves me with the same broken program. Can anyone help me
solve this?
I called HP, since it's a Compaq, and they said to reformat
and reload everything. I know that's an answer, but surely
there's a simpler approach.
Thanks for any help!!
