IE6 fails to open

I have a PC running Win2k Sp3 and IE6, it was working
properly for some time. The user tries to open IE and
immediately gets the Microsoft screen wanting to send an
error report. I have logged on as Administrator of my
doamin and IE seems to work properly. I have attempted to
log on as Administrator of the local machine and IE fails.
ANy ideas?

Open the Internet applet in Control Panel.
On the Advanced tab uncheck "Enable third party browser enhancements".
Then eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
