IE6 DLL Files Corrupt

I have Win98 with IE6 and AOL. I have been having
numerous fatal errors and screen freezing to where I have
to leave AOL constantly. AOL suggested to try to repair
IE6. But it was not able to repair due to:

said: IE6 cannot be repaired due to error; Version
3.1.0.2230 of file scrrun.dll exists, but the version
needs to be greater than 5.1.0.5010. I searched microsoft
and found the file I need at TechNet. (file 5.6.0.6626)

Technet said that microsoft does not offer DLL files for
downloads, and could not find any available at microsoft.

Can I find this file available for download anywhere, and
if not, how can I fix this problem.

Hi,

That file is part of the Scripting Engine. You might want to download it
again from www.microsoft.com/scripting and reinstall it.
