IE6 Disappeared

I downloaded IE6 and installed it on XP Pro. Tried
loading Adobe Photoshop, and was warned that my system
needed IE Explorer 4.0 or higher in order to proceed with
the installation.

Went to Add/remove software in Control Panel and it
wasn't there nor could it be found in the Registry.

Tried installing it again and the installer said that it
was already there. Am I losing my mind and my browser?

MS Add/Remove doesn't show hidden files. You need something else like
TweakAll at http://www.codeforge.co.uk.

WinXP comes with IE6. How did you install? If you installed IE6 SP1
without installing WinXP SP1 you messed up.
