IE6 and xp SP 2

hi

since the install of sp2 when I open lil pop up windows
like for instance gameday live play by play at MLB.com Im
getting a status bar at the bottom of the pop up windows.
This never was the case before SP2 was installed. is
there any way to remove the status bar at the bottom of
these pop up windows only and leave the status bar on my
main IE 6 page? the pop up windows have no menus along
the top etc so I cant select it and close those off.

Hi Ice,

That status bar is there by design. The programmers of SP2 have put it there
so that everyone can see that it's a browser popup window, not a window of
some program. I don't think it can be turned off.
