If I try to start Internet Explorer or view files through
Windows Explorer, I get the message "Windows Explorer has
encountered a problem..." This problem came out of the
blue after I started my computer yesterday morning. I did
not install anything new prior to that. I reinstalled
Windows XP twice and that did not fix the problem. I also
tried running the System File Checker and that did not fix
anything. I also did a liveupdate from Norton and ran the
virus checker on all files. It did not find a virus. I've
installed all the critical updates from Microsoft and that
hasn't made a difference. I am out of ideas. Any
suggestions?
