IE6.0 initialization problems

Sameer

Hi all,

I am using Windows XP Professional on my laptop. I am facing a problem
with my web browser (IE 6.0). Whenever I open any website on my
browser, 2 shortcuts are added to my favorites. These are shortcuts to
illicit websites. I have not visited these websites but every time I
open my browser, the shortcuts get added to my favorites.
Also when my browser is opened, 2 shortcuts are added to my desktop as
well. This happens everytime I browse the net using my browser.
It seems some virus or trojan has affected my registry and thus
initialises these shortcuts when IE is opened, but I am not able to
track the error in my registry.
Seek your help on the above.....

regards,
Sameer
