internet explorer disappeared from my computer. Can I get it any other way that to reformat harddrive ?

Probably only the shortcut disappeared.

Go to Start > Run and type
iexplore.exe

If it appears, then you just have to search and find the file
iexplore.exe and when you find it, right-click it and choose send to
desktop (create shortcut)
