I'm running two computers, both with XP SP2. On the Laptop I ran Noadware,
and the scan said that Slagent IEworkaround.dll was a threat. I had Noadware
delete it and then ran another scan and it showed up again. There is folder
in Program Files called IE workaround. I tried deleting from Add & removed
Programs and there it deleted the listing but not the dll. I do not have the
same file on my desktop.
Is this something left over from SP1, if so is it needed or can it be delete
and how?

Hi

IEworkaround.dll is not a Microsoft file.

I suggest you run the tools mentioned here:
