IE won't open a page in a new window

Suddenly IE 6. won't open any web page sin a new window?

I don't know why... It just opens and stays blank, i have
to press stop and refresh to get the page.

ALso, I can't search a web page (for example search for
the word "food", it doens't even open the normal seach
window.

I have unistalled IE, and reinstalled to no avail,,,
