IE wont load site

Pete

Hi everyone,

Using xpsp2. IE won't load the following url (tv.yahoo.com/grid/?) - no
problem with firefox. I have cookies enabled. Screen is blank white with
clear box at top that goes full page width with the little rectangular icon
in the upper left corner.

Any idea what is going on here. As I was typing this it just started
downloading something from the site with the little gold shield in the
status bar (this is very strange). This happened like five minutes after I
tried to load it.

Now it is loading it with the blip noise and then it puts the yellow shield
in the status bar. And a couple minutes later it just worked. Help...Pete

As a follow up, when it does load, and then I try to go to a different grid,
it hangs indefinitely. Something is definitely wrong...Pete

It's seems to be working okay now. I don't know what was wrong. I was also
getting activex and macromedia messages that they need to be installed (even
though they were a long time ago). I also dumped cache and cookies (even
though there was very little in there since I don't use IE much).

No one answered, so now you don't have to...Pete
