IE won't let me connect to hotmail

I haven't been able to connect to hotmail through IE for about a week now. I
can get to the msn.com main page, but any attempts to get to hotmail login or
my inbox always ends with a blank page. I can access other secure sites
however. I have turned off my firewall, disabled my virus software, restored
browser defaults etc. and no luck. I ran a scan for viruses and came up
with nothing either.
I tried setting up a new user account and that didn't help..neither did
checking all the .dll in the command prompt. It isn't listed as a restricted
site on my computer either. No matter what type of brower I use, it won't
let me connect to hotmail. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have
already tried everything that support has told me over the phone.

Four things to try:

1. Clear your TIF and History completely:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

2. Check your Cookies folder and delete any cookies that relate to the
site in question (Hotmail or Passport).

3. Check your Hosts file as per this article:
Problems Using Internet Explorer with Incorrect Hosts File
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q219843

More info on the Hosts file:

4. Got to a Command prompt (Start...Programs...Accessories) and type in:

ipconfig /flushdns

Hit Enter.
