Hello,

After a very severe Adware/Spyware attack, I seem to have
a problem with closing all IE windows. I click the "x"
or file->close and then it beeps and nothing more. It
then continues to run. If I open up the tasklist, it is
listed as running and using 100% of my system resources.
Sometimes I can close it from there. I've tried numerous
things to no avail. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

i had the same problem, read sum other post about it,
worked for me, heres wut to do: on ie > tools>internet
options>advanced>browsing>uncheck allow 3rd party
browsing extensions>restart your cpu

iono how to find out wut causes it thoug but if u find
out email me =) thx

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
