IE windows wont close.

when i open an IE window, sometimes after i am finished
with that window and close it (buy clicking the red X or
right clicking and selecting close) it wont close.
instead it flashes like it is buesy. this started after i
downloaded a zip file off a website and opened it. (i
didnt scan it or anything, really dumb i know) i have run
avg anti-virus and lava soft ad-aware 6...it cleand out a
lot of files but i still have this problem. any
sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red- others
are optional.)

Search for common parasites at http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/

Less likely, but it could be caused by a legitimate program running in the
background such as anti-virus. Disable background applications one at a time
to see if you can find the culprit.
