ie 6 wont close

Most times when I launch ie 6, I cant close the program.
I have to go into Task Manager and close it out there.
Sometimes I have 5 or 6 windows open, and they all lock
and wont close. Anyone else in my boat?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Start by running CWShredder from
http://www.zerosrealm.com/downloads/CWShredder.zip

Then...
Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red- others
are optional.)

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
