IE windows pop up uncontrollably

When I browse the internet, sometimes multiple windows of internet explorer will keep on popping up. These pages are usually just blank IE pages that continually pop up till like 50-60 have popped up and then I have to restart my computer.

sure sounds like you have a bug. either that or
something's missing from IE.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
