ie window size

when i open internet explorer, the size of the window does not fill the
whole of the screen. Its about an inch short both to the right, and to the
bottom?
How do i set it to fit to screen size?

Try to Do the maximizing Bit again (but by Putting/placing the Pointer
over the Windows edge until get to double arrow <---> and Drag Out, do that
in all Directions Up, Down, Right, Left then try to open a link on that page
or type another URL and surf as Normal and close the IE.
Reboot your machine and see if the IE shortcut will open in Maximized window
as desired.

Open a single IE window and use the mouse to grab the edges and drag it to
the largest size possible. Then use File | Close to close the window.
