My IE window randomly & abruptly closes when I'm on any website - that
includes Microsoft.com. Any ideas on what may be causing this?

It may very likely be some form of parasite or malware on your system.

It's been happening for a few weeks know. Many responses has said it
probably is scumware or virus but that is not the case. I know because I
have the same problem but have the latest of everything including anti-virus
and anti-spyware programs. This started happening the weekend MS update the
moneycentral.msn.com web.
