Running Windows XP home edition,IE was hijacked and I've
hit it with SpyBot, and other anti-spyware programs. Now,
two things are occuring. The first is I can't access the
IE "Tools" option. I get a message stating that I don't
have the authority to access it and I need to contact my
admin. This is my home PC and I have given myself all
admin rights. I've even logged off and back on under safe
mode and logged on as the admin to no avail. The second is
every time I try to run SpyBot, it immediatley closes.
I've since started running other anti-spyware, but was
curious if the hijacking and SpyBot denial were related.
Thanks for any help.
