IE taskbar icon missing title

When my pc has been on for a while (5-6 hrs) IE taskbar
icons start loosing the title (descriptions). All that is
displayed is the logo and the first letter of the title.

How can this be fixed?

The only solution I've found is to reboot, but that is an
inconvenient solution.

Surprisingly, this sounds like a video driver issue; have you updated your
video drivers lately?

Try this fix. Note sure if it will work on your operating system.

A Single Letter May Be Displayed in the Title Bar
When you run Windows Explorer or start Internet Explorer, the text in the
title bar may be displayed as a single letter (for example, an "M" or an
"E").
