All of a sudden after I have viewed a couple web pages IE stops viewing new
ones. It just comes up with the page as if there were no internet
connection. The thing is that Outlook and Yahoo IM still function correctly.
What could the problem be?

The usual first step when browsing starts to get screwy is to clear your
browser cache. (Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Temporary Internet
Files - Delete Files button > checkmark in Delete all offline content.)

Think of it like this: Don't you feel better after a good burp? No, you're
probably a gentleman who doesn't do things like that. But try to imagine...

I did that, but it still is happening. I was curious if memory would have
anything to do with it. I have noticed that it usually happens when it I
have multiple pages open and it is really having to work. jJust a thought

What is the size of your Temporary Internet Files cache?

For reliable broadband connections, TIF usually doesn't need to be larger
than 10MB - 15MB. For dialup you would need closer to 50MB.

Rendering web pages is not a memory intensive activity for most people.

4095mb

That's way too big. Reduce it to 50 mb.

If that doesn't fix it, try removing spyware.
