IE Slow Launch

When I launch IE on our Windows 2000 Server, it takes approx 20 sec to open.
During this time, most other operations are paused as well. I've tried 'sfc
/scannow', repairing the IE6 install, etc. Anyone experienced this?

I would run Ad-aware, Spybot, and possible Trojan Guarder. My first
suspicion is that your machine is running some kind of malware or you may
have a trojan horse. These are all free or free trialware software available
for download from http://download.com
