IE Shutting Down

I have Windows XP, and when I attempt to go on the
internet, it shuts down within minutes. I am getting the
following message: C\windows\system32\lsass.exe terminated
unexpectedly with status code 107374189. The system will
now shut down and restart.
I have a current version of Norton Antivirus and it hasn't
found any virus.

You went online without a firewall and/or didn't patch your system with
the MS Windows Update Sasser patch that's been out for awhile.
