IE shutdown

During normal use, an IE pop up appears, stating that an error has occurred and IE needs to shut down. I also have problems when sending email from my comcast server application - it sends, but the window goes blank and I get a "server busy" or shut down message.

This was happening (and still is somewhat) to me. I
downloaded Lavasoft's Ad-aware free software and got rid
of a lot of unwanted adware. It has helped the problem
for the most part, but still happens occassionally.
