IE should not open this file type

When i click a .pgn file in IE6 it opens it (as text). I want another
program to open the file. .pgn was not in Windows Explorer | Tools |
Folder Options | File Types, so I made a new file type and associated
it with the other program.
It works allright on the computer, but if I click a .pgn-file in IE,
then it is still opened (as text) in the browser window

Hi bosse,

No need for another file type for the same extension. I think changing the
default app for that filetype would do. You can ctrl+click on such a file,
Open with, select the application you want and check [x] Always use...

Thanks! but:

PGN-files still opens (as text) by IE when I click on them on
Internet. On other computers they are opened by the PGN-viewer (chess)
on the computer. When I double-click a PGN-file on the harddisk on the
computer in question it opens fine in the PGN-viewer!
