IE setup in a file?

Hi,
I wonder if the IE saves the configuration in a file or
is it only stored in registers?
When a change is done in the browsers setup (e.g. under
the tab advance) this has to be stored somewhere.
The reason I ask is that I have problems at home but not
in my office (same hardware and programs) so I want to
compare and see what differs.

It's stored in the registry. Please post the actual problem you're facing.
