IE saves .jpg files as .jpe

When I save a JPEG file from a web page, IE saves it with
a .jpe extension instead of .jpg. Anybody know how to
correct this? Thanks.

Hi Renee,

Empty TIF folder ( C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files ).
That usually does the trick.
