IE rollup package 811114 shows up with each update

Hello,

Thought I'd start in this newsgroup. On a WinXP SP1
system, whether with the autoupdate or windows update
service, "Q811114: Security Update (Windows XP or Windows
XP Service Pack 1)" continues to show up as needing to be
installed even though it has been installed and shows in
the %windir% as an unstallable fix.

I also use HFNetChkPro 4.0 and it correctly identifies it
as being installed. This is becoming annoying. What can
I check to make sure it doesn't continue to show as
needing to be installed?

I'm glad that I'm not the only one. The thing won't go away, and by
now I've probably installed it about five or six times.

I too am having the same problem. It downloads, installs successfully, but
continues to show up as a Critical Update in the Windows Update.
