IE refuses to give up focus

Folks,
After I installed the latest hotfix for W2K[1] from WindowsUpdate,
IE (6, SP1 + all hotfixes) often (but not always) refuses to give up focus
when I click on another app, unless I first click on its title bar.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? Any idea how to fix it?

[1] I forget the hotfix #. Based on folder date, it looks like
MS02-050: Certificate Validation Flaw Might Permit Identity Spoofing
