IE redirecting itself

F

Fernando

After loading a website, IE redirects itself to localhost
IP 127.0.0.1. It does not seem to be a HOSTS problem,
since the website(s) where this happens are not listed in
there, and the website does load. It is a split second
after loading that it redirects itself and gets the
obvious unable to find page error. Any clues on what
might be going on? I reinstaalled IE and no change at
all, and it is not the website code (website works on
another computer).

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1

Note: where "????" = another IP address

Not Sure who wrote the HijackThis reply, but wanted to
thank you. Your a God. Have been having this problem
for some time and found you post only about 3 down.
Tried it, (although, did not do the submitt to Spy
thing). But took the chance and got rid of what I thought
should not be there. Worked like a charm. Thank you,
and thought you needed some praise.
