IE rebooting the PC

I have a PC that is running Windows 2000 sp4 & IE 6.0 with
all the updates applied to it. Several people who use the
PC said that they have had several browsers open at the
same time and when they switch back and forth between the
3-5 screens the PC will suddenly reboot. I have sat there
for over 20 twenty minutes and did not have a problem but
it's happening with more than one user so it leads me to
believe that it is not a user profile corruption. We are
using Antivirus software that is updated every couple of
days and the latest updates have been downloaded. I ran
the virus scan and no virus' were found and I also ran the
Stinger.exe from Mcfee and it found nothing either. Does
anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
I only installed the OS about 2 weeks ago and I'd hate to
have to do it again.

Thanks for any help

It is possible you may have parasites on your system causing the problem.
Download, install, update the programs to be sure they have the latest
definitions, then run the programs below. They are free and very effective.
Be sure to run both SpyBot and Adaware, as what one does not detect the
other may. Follow the directions carefully:

SpyBot Search & Destroy: Free
