IE Problem

I'm not sure I'm in the proper group..?

My Internet Explorer - after an undetermined amount of time (approx. 5 times
a day), will default my home page to idgsearch.com - obviously it's on some
sort of timer (VIRUS - scheduler) - but none that I can find. I've searched
processes - the scheduler - and the registry (each time there are the same
amount of instances - which I replace with my original default). I've also
ran numerous Virus scans - with the newest definition - all to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this - and is there a fix.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Sounds like spyware or a home page hijacker.

Try SpyBot 1.2 (Update the definitions)
Then let it apply its "Quarantine" features.

.There are many proper replies to your ? I would just

like to add that virus scanners do not detect spyware,
yes the newer ones clam they do but they have no track
record for it. spybot and adaware should find it the
links for these are with other posters
