IE Printing giving Access Denied

When I try to print from IE 6.0 I get an error as follows:

Error occured in this script on this page.

Error Permission denied
Code 0
url://c:/windows/system/shdococ.dll/preview.dlg

It seems I don't have permission to use the printer. I am running the
Windows ME on a Gateway machine. The printer works fine in all
applications except IE.
Anyone know how to set or unset the printer permissions in IE?
