IE/Outlook Express 6 Spell Check failure

When attempting to spell check a newly created email in Outlook Express v6.00.2800.1123, an error message displays indicating that the spell check has failed. Also have found that either pressing the Spell Check Button on the Button Bar or from the Spell Check listing on Tools Menu, the same results occur. This is a virgin OEM install of Windows XP Professional, and the only application software installed is Office 97. All Windows updates from Windows Update Web Site were performed prior to Office 97 Installation. No Office 97 updates have been performed as yet. Previous computer had Windows 98 SE2 OEM install and also the same Office 97 installation and all IE/Outlook Express updates to v6.0 SP1 were downloaded and installed. No problems with Spell Check in this scenario. Any ideas would be helpful. Have already spent many hours exhausting the Microsoft Knowledge Base for any possible clues, however, I don't believe Microsoft's Knowledge Base has a "clue" on this one, or at least, I may have not hit the right combination of keywords yet... Help

Search on the web for a file called "csapi3t1.dll". You then need to put it
in the folder "Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof". You might
need to restart Windows but the spell checker should work now.

Cheers.
