IE opens excel files i want to download

I mistakenly clicked on open instead of download and now I
can not stop IE from opening html CVS files that I want to
download.

what should I do?

can not stop IE from opening html CVS files that I want to
download.

what should I do?

Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to the file type in question and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Check the box for "Confirm open after download".
