IE opening new window with Resize

I'm having a very annoying problem that I dont know how to
fix. when I click a link or go to a new page in the same
browser the browser I'm using or a new browser will open
but it will be resized to half and I have to hit the
maximize button to fix it. First of all why does it
resize itself when I go to a link? like for example I will
have the browser fully sized and I would type an address
in the URL bar and hit enter and as soon as I do that the
browser just resizes itself to about 50% and I have to
maximize it to fix it. Why does going to URL's sometimes
make the browser smaller and how do you fix this?? thanks

will work but I'll try
 
I am having the same issue--the fix did not work--any
other suggestions?
 
The resized window must be the last window closed.

Not all links will open in a window of user-defined size, no matter what you
do.
 
Same problem here.... any way to fix this?
