IE not starting

When you click on the internet explorer icon the hour
glass comes up for a couple seconds then disappeares.
Nothing happens. I have uninstalled IE and reinstalled
and still nothing. Any idea. I put mozilla on and it
works fine, just nothing from IE.

Hi,
From Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions."

If that allows IE to open, another program is causing the problem. Work
through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
