IE not downloading files etc.

Every time I try to download a program or file, I get a
blank page and the file is not downloaded. I have to go
out of IE and use Netscape to download the files etc. I do
not get any response from IE. Please advise if I am doing
something wrong or my setup is not correct.

I'm not entirely sure, but if you have a download manager perhaps it is not
functioning correctly, try reinstalling any download managers you have.
Also, try right clicking the fiel and choosing "Save Target As" and see if
it downloads.

Have you found an answer. I am having the same problem. I
have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.
