George

Lately I'm getting the following message whenever I close IE 6 after
updating Windows XP Pro from Microsoft:

IE has encountered a problem and needs to close .........

Error signature:

AppName: iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: wininet.dll
Mod.Ver: 6.0.2800.1106
Offset: 0001dc15

Any suggestion how to try and get rid of this problem, will be most welcome.

Thanking you in advance,
George

Henri,

In the first place I wish to thank you for your kind reaction.
Was a bit overwhelmed by the number of suggestions, and it made me realize I
have to improve my search-capacities ;)

Most certainly I going to read all of your hints.

Regards,
George
