IE Keeps dying on me

Running windows 2000 and internet explorer keeps dying on
me after surfing for about 1/2 hour.

I have uninstalled it and reinstalled and still the
problem exists.

Please help anyone.
 
Make sure that you have all the latest patches. IE 6 is very unstable without them. If it is your internet connection that is disconnecting, try googling for something like "keep Internet connection alive" or "active" you might get some help there.
