IE Javascript Problems

Hiya, on various websites where the links are actually javascript windows, when I click on them, nothing happens, no errors, no windows open like I would expect.....any ideas all

Is JScript enabled? Look under TOOLS|SECURITY
 
Last night after updating at MS website my java went nuts. I went to sun and
installed the new java from there and it fixed the problem.
