IE history help..

Hello just left of the go button in IE there is a pulldown arrow that shows recently visited web pages. I know I can clear this by clearing the history but is there a way to prevent pages from being listed there period? Thanks alot for all of your time
 
go to ie right click go to properties then where it says web history lower
the time it stores your history 4 it may b set to 30 days but u can lower it
down to 1

Go to Start > Run > Regedit
and locate this key

HKEY_USERS\ .....\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Once you've located it, right-click on the key in the right pane and
choose permissions, select your user and deny him/her 'total control'
and 'read' permissions.

Typed urls will not be listed anymore.
