IE has encountered problem and needs to close

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module
mshtml.dll, version 6.0.2900.2963, fault address 0x0006cfce.

Within an hour of pushing out the security updates last week I received
notification from at least 10 users about this error. Most are receiving it
10+ times a day.

All Users are XP SP2, IE SP2.

I am having the exact same problem.. I have windows XP service pack one.. but
it did start right after the updates last week. And here I thought the kids
had broken the computer Anyone know how to fix it?

I have, there doesn't seem to be anything there that fits my situation. I
tried turning off the HTTP 1.1 but that didn't work and it looks like it is
for IE 6 SP1 users anyway.

Any other suggestions out there?

Last I heard on 8/11 (indirectly from PSS L3 support) is that MS is working
