IE has encountered a problem...

I also am getting the "Internet Explorer has encountered
a problem..." error whenever I try to start up Internet
Explorer. The problem started yesterday and I haven't
been able to fix it.

The IE Error Report generates a "appcompat.txt" file.
This can usually be found in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp\

Paste the contents (if found) in your next message.
