I keep getting the error message that internet explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to shut down. Today I have also been getting a second
message "Dr Watson postmortem has encountered a problem and needs to shut
down. That one's really bad because my computer hangs. I can't tell you how
many times today I've had to either begin searches from scratch or reboot the
computer. I saw a hotfix link somewhere yesterday, but cannot find it now.
I'm usually game to search, but IED keeps shutting down and I keep having to
start again. Can someone tell me where the hotfix is or what I can do to
correct the problem? Much appreciated.

Event viewer will provide some details that you can use to troubleshoot.
Without any clues about what is going wrong no one can help you.
