ie has become my background on my desktop.HELP.

My IE Homepage has made itself the background/wallpaper on my desktop. It
still has active links and everything. However, it won't update the links
unless I restart it. I DON'T want my homepage as my desktop
bakground/wallpaper. Can anyone advise me on how to solve this problem? I
have tried clicking on the themes menu and creating a theme for windows
(baseball, nature, etc.). It changes everything except the background, it
remains a webpage. If I right click anywhere on the desktop wallpaper it
gives me the gif information about the webpage, so I can't refresh or
reselect any of my old wallpaper.HELP...

Right click your desktop in a blank area, click Properties...Desktop tab,
select something else, click Apply, click Okay. If no joy, on the Desktop
tab, click the Customize Desktop button, Web tab, and uncheck the "My
Current Home Page" box, click Okay.

Ha, i know how to fix it...
here is wut u do
1.Right click on ur desktop.
2. go to propersties
now from here u can do two things...
3.clik on the desktop tab and change ur backround -and ur done- or
3b. clik on desktop tab
go to customize desktop, clik on the web tab
and make sure ur 'my current' hompage isnt checked

if this fails, there is one more alternative

go to anywebsite with a backroudn u like and right clik on it
then set it to ur back round

then go right clik on ur desktop again, and change ur desktop!
