IE Hangs when closing

IE hangs when trying to close it, have to alt+ctrl6delete
to close it out, upgraded from 5.5 to 6.0 with no effect.
Anyone know a solution to this?

Carsten,
This is possibly caused by spyware/parasites. Work through the
solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
page.

Or, look at other programs which might be interfering with IE. Disable (for
diagnostic purposes) ad-blockers, antivirus, toolbars and other add-ons for
IE. You may have to uninstall/reinstall one of them.
