ie explorer and PDF files

whenever I try to download a PDF file using internet
explorer, I get a little box (1/4"X1/4") in the top left
corner of the window. In this box is a red square, a
green circle, and a blue triangle. I have Adobe Acrobat
installed on my computer. Windows XP Home Editon is my
OS. What do I have to do to be able to download PDF files?

your ActiveX settings may be the culprit. Try adding the
site to your trusted sites and test at a lower security.

Look at Adobe settings under preferences and make sure it
says open in browser. This should not be necessary but has
helped me.
